Our Story

Gen Chem Clean, Inc.’s history goes back to Research Chemicals, Inc., a manufacturer of cleaning compounds, founded in 1947 by Norm’s father. Gen Chem currently sells a variety of cleaning products in the US and Canada. Industry accounts including manufacturing plants, food processing plants, auto repair shops, motels and restaurants.

Meet Our Founder

Norm Dean is Founder and Owner of Gen Chem Clean, Inc Projects and a graduate of North Texas University. Upon Receiving his BBA Degree from North Texas, he was a sales representative for First Texas Pharmaceuticals calling on physicians, hospitals, and pharmacists for 3 1/2 years before entering the family business, Research Chemicals, Inc. It was the family business where Norman learned all facets of the manufacturing of cleaning compounds, and where he became an innovator and formulator of safe, specialty cleaning products. In 1979, Norman established Gen Chem Clean, Inc, a company known for Innovative Cleaners and Solutions, whose products are Environmentally Safe, Biodegradable, Nonflammable and Noncombustible.
